Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your Healio account and data at any time, whether or not you still have the app installed. Here's exactly how it works.

How to request deletion

Email us from your registered addressSend a request to help@healio.club from the email or with the phone number linked to your Healio account, with the subject line "Delete my account."

We verify it's youWe may reply asking you to confirm a few account details, so we don't delete the wrong account or act on a request from someone impersonating you.

We process the deletionOnce verified, we delete your account and associated data as described below and confirm by email once it's done.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes it from Healio entirely — this isn't the same as just logging out or uninstalling the app.

Removed

  • Your profile and account information (phone number, email, display name)
  • Your posts, prompt responses, and messages in Circles
  • Your message history with Healers
  • Your daily check-in history
  • Saved payment methods on file

Retained where required

  • Transaction and payout records, for accounting and tax law
  • Records tied to an open safety report or investigation, until resolved
  • Information we're legally required to keep, or must retain to defend a legal claim

Anything retained under the right column is kept only as long as the underlying obligation requires, is no longer linked to your public profile or posts, and is not used to reactivate your account.

How long it takes

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Some records described above may be retained for longer where law requires it, but your account, profile, and content are removed from active use well before that.

Deleting only some of your data

If you'd rather not delete your whole account — for example, you just want a specific post removed, or a copy of your data — you can also do that from Settings in the app, or by emailing help@healio.club and telling us what you'd like removed or exported.
